COVID 19 – Operational Update

To Our DreamDry Clients,

 Our Dream Team is so excited to begin welcoming staff and clients back again soon! These past weeks haven’t been the same without you, and we’re ready to see your beautiful faces in our chairs. 

With that in mind, we want to reiterate that the well-being of our staff and clients is always our priority. We have always required strict standards and sanitation practices inside our walls and will continue to do so while following local government requirements.

Above all, we are ready to get back to giving you the ultimate experience while working our way back to normalcy. In order to do so, we’ll be implementing new steps in addition to our normal standards when our Dream Team opens our doors:

Standard practice:

  • All styling tools are disinfected after each client with Barbicide. This is an EPA approved, registered hospital disinfectant.
  • All high-traffic surface areas and rooms are routinely cleaned and disinfected.
  • All styling tools and towels are stored in closed containers and appropriately labelled for proper usage. 

New extra precautions to make your visit worry-free:

  1. While continuing with our standard hand washing procedure, our stylists will wash their hands before and after every client.
  2. We will wipe down all styling stations with disinfectant before and after each client. We will also increase the disinfection frequency of high-traffic surfaces and areas.
  3. If a client or stylist feels unwell, we will ask them to stay home. Clients who cancel due to illness will not be charged a cancellation fee during this time.
  4. For now, we will avoid greeting clients and team members with our usual handshake or hug. Just know that we’re giving you a mental hug from where we stand.
  5. We will make every effort to stock extra tissue and alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
  6. We will follow any further guidance and recommendations as they become available.

For the time being, we will also operate from appointment only scheduling systems and cashless operations for both services and tips.

We can’t thank you enough for your support and patience during our closure. Knowing we will see you again has been our silver lining throughout this time, and we’re ready to make it a reality!
